Yay, holiday weekend! Hope everyone is enjoying it! Again, we'll be closed on Memorial Day...so we'll see you on Tuesday, right? Tuesday kicks off our "Celebrate Summer" promotion: Tuesday is Grab Bag Day - FIVE used children's or tween books in a bag, just $3.00! Wednesday is SALE day! 20% off ALL NEW BOOKS! Thursday we start our SUMMER READING LENDING Library - check your school's reading list, stop by and pick out a book in our special section and take it home FOR FREE! Bring it back when you're done and choose the next one! Friday is the official open date of our JUNE KIDS' WRITING CONTEST! Short stories, three age groups, emailed to allonthesamepaj@att.net by June 30th! And of course, on Saturday, local author Keith Hoerner will be in the store signing copies of his newest book, Missing the Mark. He's also having a drawing for an electronic dart board!

Whew, what a busy week! Besides everything else going on, author Jeff Stewart stopped by with his wife Aly and son Elliott - and new baby! She is tiny and adorable and, since I'm not positive how to spell her very sweet name, I'll just go with "K." She is precious! Be sure to come by some time for a copy of Jeff's book, Elliott's Dream.
And, while Elaine Viets couldn't make it in this weekend, she messaged me last night and said she'd be back in town in November - I'll keep you all posted!

Yesterday we had Fredbird in the house. Wow, talk about a whirlwind! He came, he danced around, he played ball, he flagged down cars in the parking lot - and he made the kids giggle! A lot! Can't wait to invite him to come back - he even sat down and read a couple books....
This week we have Writer Wednesday, when a group of writers gathers at 6:00 p.m. to talk about writing, publishing, our own work, and everyone else's. Anyone is welcome!
